In order to operate our taxidermy business efficiently and professionally, we have terms and conditions that apply to all mounts that come to us. Please read the following carefully. If you have any questions please call or email us and we will be happy to help you.

Your Game Taxidermy

 

Payments Due:

 

A non-refundable 50% deposit is required at the time an order has been placed and your specimen has been brought to us.Work will not begin without the required deposit. Remaining opening balance is due in full upon notification of completion of work order. A storage fee of 10% per month, prorated will be assessed for all items left over 30 days.

Unless payment arrangements have been made, it is agreed that any mounts/specimens not paid in full within 3 months after completion of work order will become, without notice, the sole property of Your Game Taxidermy.

 

All prices reflect the highest quality taxidermy work we can possibly provide you. However, there are additional charges that will applyto your order should you choose to upgrade your mounts to include custom bases, detailed design, alterations, open mouth,pedestal mounts, leather backings, custom habitats etc. Standard bases are included in our prices. Please know that fees will be discussed and agreed upon prior to mounting.

 

Liability Waiver:

 

Your Game Taxidermy shall not be held responsible for damage to or loss of any mount for any reason, past, present or future including but no way limited to losses resulting from insect destruction, fire, theft or vandalism. We highly recommend all clients insure their trophies prior to mounting.

If during the stage of the taxidermy process any conditions are discovered which preclude the proper completion of the mount without incurrence of labour and/or materials over the above amounts included in the original price quote, Your Game Taxidermy expressly retains the right to either (1) make pricing adjustments or (2) refuse to complete the mount. The above conditions include but are no way limited to; cuts or other abrasions of the skin/hide incurred prior to acceptance of the trophy for mounting; skin conditions (hair-slip), which cause the hide to be non-tannable, improper field  preparation procedures,or any other conditions not directly controllable by Your Game Taxidermy. In the event such conditions are discovered, Your Game Taxidermy will contact the client to discuss any applicable options.

 

Guarantee:

 

It is our commitment to make every client who chooses to in trust in us with your pet/trophy a completely satisfied customer. However there may be something that a client may wish changed or fixed. Please know that we are happy to take care of minor issues at no charge within sixty days from time of pickup. After sixty days a minimum repair/alteration labour fee of $80.00 per hour plus material will be applicable.

With the appropriate care and maintenance, we can ensure your trophy/pet will withstand the test of time. Thats why every trophy and beloved pet that leaves our studio is guaranteed for life. We are happy to provide free advice to you in relation to proper care.
